Steam Next Fest is here, and Yokai Mart is part of it. The demo is free to play on Steam right now, and it's been updated since we first put it out last month.
What is Yokai Mart?
Obachan has handed you the keys to her little konbini. The shelves need stocking, the regulars have opinions, and after dark, not every customer is human. You play as Aoi, running the shop, getting to know the people (and spirits) who walk through the door, and filling your notebook with everything you learn about them.
What's in the demo
- Take over the shop as Aoi
- Stock shelves, serve customers and keep the konbini running
- Meet the regulars, like Rin, Ayame, Endo and Makoto
- Encounter your first yokai and find out what it wants
The demo takes about 30 minutes to play. It's available in English, German, Japanese and Simplified Chinese on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Since the first demo, we've read through all of your feedback and used it to polish the experience. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the shop, reported a bug or just told us which regular they liked best. It made a real difference.
